Michael Margello graduated from New York Law School in 1980 after obtaining a B.A. in history from Lafayette College. He went into private practice and immediately after law school became associated with various New York firms gaining experience in construction law, real estate and trusts and estates before his affiliation with GKASN, which began in 1991. There he acquired experience in property damage claims and insurance defense. He has trial experience in New York and New Jersey and has argued before all New York – New Jersey metropolitan area appellate courts and has presented appeals before the New York State Court of Appeals. He has served with the New Jersey Supreme Court Union County District Ethics Committee since 2004 as investigator, panel member and he has argued ethics appeals before the NJDRB. He also chaired the Committee for two years.

He is a member of New Jersey Supreme Court, District XII Ethics Committee, Past Chairman, and is a member of New Jersey State Bar Association, Union County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York County Lawyers Association and various New Jersey area Chambers of Commerce. He is a former treasurer of the Kenilworth Manufacturers Association and holds the rank of Black Belt in the Korean martial art of Taekwondo.Print
